Abstract

The article presents the system of chemical control measures taken to combat the South American moth in the tomato fields of Vosketap community in the Ararat region and Aknalich community of Armavir region in the Republic of Armenia. Ampligo, Belt, Voliam Targo, Quantum, Spintor and Koragen insecticides have been selected and involved in the control system in consistent to the impact nature on the pest’s different developmental stages, mechanisms, body invading characteristics and waiting times.Per the computation of the tomato yield harvested from the experimental plot, the yield surplus in Aknalich community made 411 c/ha, and in Vosketap comminity it amounted to 545 c/ha.
