General State of Mineral Resource Management. Economic and Ecological Issues in Armenia

Abstract

The article is related to the interrelations of economic and environmental problems enhanced in the mining sector of Armenia. The general state of mineral resource management is considered in view of evaluating the exploitation of the deposits of useful metallic minerals and the processing of non-metallic minerals in the real time. Along with the specification of the strategy development in the mentioned sector, feasible ways of efficiency increase in the exploitation of the deposits of useful metallic minerals and those of improving the processing of non-metallic minerals are recommended.
