Improving Fire Safety System in Gas-Powered Vehicles

Abstract

In Armenia the share of vehicles with gas-powered equipment make up more than 75 % of the overall rolling stock. Thus, the operational safety of the mentioned equipment is a high priority issue. The current work deals with the classification and analyses of refusal causes/malfunctions in gas equipment. A device for the detection and prevention of gas leakage from the car’s gas-powered equipment is recommended, which will automatically close the gas cylinder valve in case of gas leak.
