Abstract

The article discusses synthesis method of sex pheromones as low-molecular weight bio-regulators, as well as their application efficiency in combating pests of the agricultural crops.
According to the conducted investigations, the sex pheromones are non-toxic, do not cause any environmental pollution; they are also ecologically safe and economically efficient. Hence, in case of industrial production they can be widely used in agriculture - forestry, greenhouse and other farms.
