Wine-Making as an Alternative Investment Sector

Wine-making sector has a great capacity to become the driving force in the economy of Armenia, however it is not provided with appropriate resources due to insufficient investment level. The aim of the article is to identify foreign investors᾿ interests
in the wine-making sector of Armenia. The profitability level of wine-making organizations for recent years and the minimum threshold required for the profitability of this sector have been estimated through the CAPM model. To mitigate and solve the disclosed problems alternative ways of state promoting reforms have been introduced in the current work.
